Alumni Meeting

For today's rest-day activity, I headed over to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and the National Religious Broadcasters Convention for a Cedarville Alumni meet-and-greet. It was a small showing, likely because we as an alumni leadership team didn't do much promoting of the event. The highlight was Dr. Brown, the current president, being in attendance. He seemed to know everyone there or have done his research on those who were coming—either that or he's really good with names! It really wasn't the most exciting event for a rest day, but it definitely fulfilled my mandate to do something with someone. And there were a few people I talked with who I hadn't seen since either the last alumni event or a few months ago.
