Riding Part of the IM Course to Recover

On my way home from Allison's (after Panera, church, and lunch with her mom and brothers), I stopped in Louisville to ride 15 miles of the IM bike course and run about 1 mile. Fun times. I felt great on the bike and my right foot, where I normally get blisters, was starting to bother me.

Nothing special to note on the IM course; what I rode was exactly the same as last year--right along the river and flat as anything. I wasn't going to ride hard, but there was some guy on my wheel and I had to show him I could ride. Oh, pride.

Ride:
  • 44:22
  • 13.43 mi
  • 18.2 avg
  • 850 cal
  • 143 HR
Run:
  • 13 min
  • 1.51 mi
  • 8:38 pace
  • 181 cal
  • 156 HR
