I guess I don't shop much during the summer, being gone racing and on vacation -- it's been a while since I've shared a grocery store trip! Here are my two quick trips (one big and one small) from this week.

During the 6-27 shopping trip, I was behind a lady in line who spent ~$38 on her few groceries. I noticed that she had an item for which I had a matching Q, so I set the Q on the item and the cashier scanned it. I happened to check the screen as she was paying and noticed that she saved a total of 80 cents: the doubled value of the coupon I'd set out. It almost hurt to see so little savings on a shopping trip. Even if I hadn't used coupons, I'd have saved nearly $30 on this shopping trip--it SO pays to shop the sales!
